How to Enter
In celebration of World Ocean Month Hamanasi is having a Belize reef themed photo contest.  Did you take a photo somewhere on the Belize Reef system? You can enter your photos for a chance to win a free stay at Hamanasi, among other prizes. We have 4 separate categories, covering individuals and wildlife as you explore the Belize’s atolls and Barrier Reef. Hamanasi will select the winners of each category and a Grand Prize winner from all entrants. All photos must be taken within the Belize Barrier Reef system including Glover’s Reef Atoll, Lighthouse Reef Atoll, or Turneffe Islands Atoll. Submit your photos by June 30th, 2024.
Categories
Macro Underwater Species
Large aquatic animals, such as sharks, turtles, rays, dolphins, or even large corals.
Micro Underwater Species
Those tiny little things, such as a seahorse, nudibranch, feeder shrimp, small fish, etc
Diver(s) or Snorkeler(s)
Yourself and/or your buddies enjoying diving or snorkeling.
Topside on a
Boat
Individuals or small groups on a boat, gear, boat equipment, etc.
Prizes
The Grand Prize winner will receive a 3-night stay for two at Hamanasi including breakfast and a choice of a Barrier Reef dive or snorkel adventure. Each category will receive a Hamanasi gift pack. The winning photos will be displayed in a gallery at Hamanasi.
